Zinc bromide solution is the densest of the common clear brines. It is a blend of zinc bromide and calcium bromide, used where other brines are not heavy enough: deep, high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) oil and gas wells.
Our technical grade contains 52–55% zinc bromide and 19–22% calcium bromide, with a specific gravity above 2.30 at 25 °C.
